10/10 best costume ever

Alright- I admit it, this is not something I really NEEDED, but I really wanted it. We have a big german shepherd / rottweiler mix that would just look awesome in this so we just had to get it. He looked hilarious but he didn't seem to mind. Then I got to thinking- we also have a cow...What would you do? So outside we went to bother the cow. We really tried to catch the horse, but by then she was onto us. The cow didn't really seem to mind, nor did the dog- they just gave me the "here we go again" look. Like I said, this isn't something you need, but I must admit it was really fun and I plan on harassing the cow some more and trying to get it on video. When you live out in the country, I guess you have alot of free time to waste. Regardless of what anyone else says, this was worth every penny.

Had the relatives over and put this on our Australian Shepherd. We all were cracking up laughing and husband started playing lion tamer with the dog and calling him Simba. Dog got so excited he started running in and out of the rooms like a crazy animal - all the time with the lion mane on. Hysterical.

This was a total hit when we used it on our greyhound. Stays put very well and didn't bother him at all. The costume gained lots of attention!

It's easy to put on if your dog is willing. My pup is very food motivated, so using chicken instead of regular training treats encouraged him to tolerate it, if your dog knows basic sit/stay/leave it find your high value reward if he/she is not in to wearing things on the head. For those with dogs that don't mind wearing hats or glasses, then this will be a easy for you. As others have said the inside lining is nice, and good quality.

This was a great purchase. It wasn’t to big. I have a pit bull so he isn’t really a large dog but more medium large. So this came out perfect. It matched his coat and because you don’t have to force their ears out of any holes, he didn’t mind wearing like some other pet headgear.

I was so worried this wouldn't fit my Vizsla or that the inside would be sratchy or crinkle. It fits and it is super soft. What a cute skinny little lion she makes!

This was the perfect costume for our 160+ lb Bullmastiff! We have tried several different lion manes, and this is by far the best. The ears make it look so real and the color is perfect! The looks on people's faces?! Priceless!

So cute and good quality! It us an adjustable strap so it can fit any size head.

Mane is good with a liner on the inside and an elastic band with tightener.

My Cookie Bear has never looked more furious!!! Cutest lion ever, color matches his coat perfectly.

I didn’t expect how much I loved it. It was hilarious and made all the family laugh.
This lions mane was much nicer than I expected. Even the resealable storage bag was nice.
It’s worth the price for all the laughter.

Of course it went on a Golden...for Halloween. We have a dutch door so keep the top open for "receiving" the kids. Well, Our Goldie has learned to put his feet on the lower door to lean out looking for kids coming up the walkway. Kids loved it/Apollo loved it and I was happy for both.

Our Teddy Bear wants to be a Lion for Halloween... How can we say "No" to such a sweet boy? This thing fits him very well. He doesn't like it a bit, but we do. And so does everyone else! Worth the money. (He does like it on his Mom, though!)

At first when I ordered it I wondered how it would stay on tight enough to keep it on, but it actually has an elastic band around the face area that you can tighten to fit your pet. My dog put it on easily, however he also easily took it off. I couldn't keep it on him long enough to get too many good pictures. I think after wearing it a few times maybe he will get more used to it. A very cute costume for Halloween if you plan on taking your dog trick-or-treating with you.

I have never gotten so much attention for a costume before! People across the street came over to check my dog out. So many compliments! I loved the satin liner and the hidden drawstring, plus the coloring fit my dog perfectly.

I bought this purely for fun. My dog did not need this but he sure looks good wearing it. It is a good quality "prop" and I had a lot of fun taking my dog on photoshoots wearing this . My dog is black but this main which includes some black hairs amongst the brown looked incredibly good against his black fur.

Super cute and it fits my 70 pound boxer/lab mix. I purchased a large size but it has a drawstring so it would fit a wide range dog sizes.

We love this mane. My Golden looks great in it, people just go nuts. Since he’s a total ham, he loves it too.

I was surprised at its good quality. It's very easy to put on my dog. It's like a pillowcase with openings at opposite ends. However, when I had him on a leash with his collar and the mane on, the mane would slip out IF the leash is pulled from the front. No biggie. As for the tail piece, I couldn't figure out how to put it on my dog's tail esp. because he already has a bushy tail. If you have a Golden Retriever, this lion mane is a must-have. What's also nice is that it came in a reusable ziploc bag.

This is the cutest lion mane! I was wanting a mane that didn’t have cheesy colored fur, and this didn’t disappoint. Great colors and one of the more “authentic” looking mane costumes (in my opinion).
Putting it on was extremely easy, also. The hole is large, and there’s a drawstring to tighten the mane around the face. My dog didn’t mind it at first, but eventually he did get annoyed that there was something on his head. I don’t think he was uncomfortable, though.

When you have a 110 lb German Shepard/Yellow Lab mix who already looks like Bear, it was an easy transition to fearless Lion with this mane. It matched his fur almost perfectly and he didn't mind wearing too much for short periods of time. Not something you would leave on for any extended period of time due to it covering his ears and probably being pretty warm. Ironically, my dogs name is in fact "Bear" so on this day he was Lion-Bear.

Hahahaha Hahahaha!!!! My dog has become the lion from the Wizard of Oz.....still looking for her courage (and now dignity). The wig fits her color perfectly, but bc my baby girl has such a small head, the wig is a little loose. It’s pretty good quality. There’s lining on the inside to make it more comfy for the dog.

THIS IS THE BEST! It looks so funny and cute, and it stays on pretty well. It has an elastic cord to cinch up to tighten it. My dog doesn't even notice its there, and my kids think it's hilarious.

This was the perfect "costume" for our 100lb dog. The kids loved and and some even questioned whether we had a real lion. It stayed on him as he ran around the house and to the door. Once he got used to it (we don't dress him) it didn't seem to bother him. Will keep this around for re-use in the future!
