My Yorkie has a highly developed sense of ESP & either had the best hiding places or was able to become invisible at bath time. I replaced her cold bath water with warm after not being able to find her until I sometimes just gave up. And the desperate attempts to escape when I managed to get her in the tub! Then I bought this bath brush on a whim . I have a 5# dog who dislikes getting a bath. I used to wash him with a regular washcloth but it never really got through his hair to his skin. After using this brush he's much more tolerant of being bathed and it's definitely noticeable that his hair and skin is much cleaner.

My shitzu loves it! She stills plays dead when it's bathtime, but once she's getting scrubbed down she enters into a happy meditative trance. After the bath her fur is very soft and she's squeaky clean

The reviews are true; my dogs really like this brush. It is easy to use and gives them a nice massage. I use it when I bathe them & also use it dry to brush them. I agree, it could be made to be easier to clean, but my dogs have short coats-not too much hair comes off so cleaning the brush isn’t a big issue for me.
